I can remember always having a camera with me from the time I was young. I loved capturing the moments I was living. I knew it would always be important for me to look back on my life and not only see my memories but truly feel them. I think that is why photography found me. It is true of me that you can find me most of the time with a camera in my hands. My friends and family understand that fully. I am grateful to capture and document the real moments of our lives. That is why my photography won't always be the "perfect" everyone looking at the camera pictures. I live for the moments when my clients forget I'm even there and just be. My daddy made me appreciate those kind of moments. His passing made me even more passionate about my photography. Grandparent pictures are one of my favorites! To see generation after generation and the love that lives forever honestly touches my soul. I would be honored to capture your memories for you. Thank you for letting me be a small part of your lives. I hope my photography will allow you to always feel the moments you live.

pogemiller family

Pogemiller family....thank you so much for this shoot! I have listened to Katy for so long talk about what a great family you are...and she is right! You both are wonderful parents to new baby Clark! (btw...I love when you can use your last name as a first name for your child!) Baby Clark is SUCH a JOY! I hope you all had fun and look forward to a shoot again! Blessings to your family.

Happy Mother's Day






Happy Mother's Day to all my clients and my mama! Mama...thank you for loving me and my brothers and sister. You sacrificed everyday to make our lives better. I know it wasn't easy staying home and raising us but I am so grateful you did. You are the strongest woman I know. I have learned so much from you and hope I can be the kind of mom to my children that you were/are to us. You have taught me that everyday might not be great but there are great moments in everyday and to grab ahold of those... to love where I am and to be content. You have taught me that it isn't always easy being a mom but it is the most important job I have. I love you with all my heart.


To my children....thank you for making me a mommy. You are the best part of my days. I love each of you....always and forever.
